Since 1998, Pro:Direct have continually redefined the football retail marketplace as the lead authenticator and global authority on football performance, innovation and lifestyle of the new football styled consumer. In 2023 we celebrate 25 years of Pro:Direct inspiring and serving the sport obsessed. To commemorate this milestone, we look to those who have supported us over the last quarter of a century to create a new chapter celebrating the partnerships, progress and performance.
The Pro:Direct Soccer 25th Anniversary celebrations are about to begin, and you won't want to miss out on what's to come in this landmark year of exclusive and special edition releases. We'll be taking trips down memory lane to reignite classics, unleashing new innovations and dropping disruptive product that will only be available to Pro:Direct Soccer customers.
From day one, Pro:Direct Soccer has been on a dedicated journey, underpinned by one company ethos — “relentless obsession”. We obsess around every detail of performance product and how it can improve the performance of athletes, and as we strive into this landmark year we're taking you on our journey that spans across a quarter of century of elite product. As the year goes on we'll be pulling the sheets off these limited edition releases and offering you the chance to own a part of our history.
Remember circling your favourite boots in the iconic BootBibles and leaving them on your parents bed ahead ahead of a birthday? That's the sort of nostalgia we're talking about here. From the rise of the Predator to the birth of the Mercurial, we’ve seen boot innovation accelerate at breakneck speed since we dispatched our first order back in 1998 and the world’s largest Bootroom is about to get even larger as we prepare to unleash a year long celebration of special edition surprises.

Drop One: PUMA Future Tokyo | April 12
In 2011 Pro:Direct Soccer joined forces with PUMA for a special edition and exclusive PUMA Powercat 1.10 Tokyo which was inspired by the neon lights and vibrant culture of Japan’s capital city. For 2023, and with the honour of being our first special edition launch in this incredible year, it’s lifted off the throwback silhouette of the Powercat and transformed into an elite modern-day Future, drenched in the DNA of the original. Just 800 pairs available worldwide.
Drop Two: Nike Air Zoom Mercurial XXV SE | April 17
To mark the joint 25th anniversary of Pro:Direct Soccer and the Nike Mercurial series, the Swoosh unveiled just 2,500 pairs of the Vapor and Superfly worldwide in this shimmering chrome-effect design. The boots featured historic version of the Nike and Mercurial logos to celebrate the landmark occasion and sold out within minutes of going live on the Pro:Direct Sport App.
Drop Three: adidas Predator Accelerator x PD 25 SE | May 4
Now this one is special. Taking it back to 1998 to celebrate a boot that celebrates its own 25th Anniversary this year. The adidas Predator Accelerator x PD 25 SE lifts the original upper from the iconic boot and places it on top of modern day soleplate injected with chrome styling. Just 998 pairs have dropped worldwide, exclusively at Pro:Direct Soccer.
Drop Four: Pantofola d'Oro Lazzarini x PD 25 SE | May 10
Luxury Italian brand Pantofola d'Oro get in on the anniversary celebrations as we collaborate with them on their most iconic boot series. The famed Lazzarini boot is wrapped in a shimmering platinum upper to celebrate a landmark year in Pro:Direct Soccer's history. Pantofola d'Oro is a brand we instantly fell in love thanks to its unique position in the market and obsession with delivering the softest, most comfortable leather football boots. Just 100 pairs of these dropped worldwide.
Drop Five: Reusch Legacy Gold x PD 25 | May 12
Pro:Direct Soccer and Reusch have worked together to create an exclusive 25 year anniversary glove, for the original glove that was never released or made available to the public. Featuring Reusch’s Evolution Negative Cut, offering a snug fit, whilst the backhand features a blend of traditional neoprene and latex, bringing comfort and power to punching in equal measure. The look is a classic white design, taking inspiration from Reusch’s long heritage in the game, using their original logo which was used back in the 90’s.
Drop Six: Lotto Stadio Gold 50 Years Edition x PD 25 | June 2
This iconic edition of the Lotto Stadio celebrated 50 years of the Italian brand and 25 years of Pro:Direct Soccer. Wrapped in gold with co-branded call outs across the upper, just 50 pairs of the boots were launched worldwide. We've stocked Lotto since day one, and while they are iconic for creating the world's first ever laceless boot, they're also renown for their luxurious leather footwear, and the Stadio is the top level.
Drop Seven: PUMA King Top 75+25 | October 5
PUMA join the Pro:Direct Soccer 25th Anniversary celebrations with the PUMA King Top 75+25 edition and it pays tribute to two landmark years – the 75th anniversary of PUMA and the 25th anniversary of Pro:Direct Soccer. Adding 75+25 gives us just 100 pairs worldwide of the PUMA King Top football boots which dresses for the occasion in a stunning silver wrap for a premium look. Each pair is numbered on the insole. The insoles also feature the Pro:Direct Soccer 25th Anniversary crest while the Pro:Direct 'P' logo is present on the heels of the boot as we partner with PUMA on this special edition drop.
